ISW-SWE welcomes young members of the “Youth for Water and Climate” programme in Strasbourg, August 30 – September 5

The Youth for Water and Climate (YWC) programme, coordinated by ISW-SWE with numerous European partners, aims to equip young people with the tools they need to become future leaders in the water and climate sector. The diversity of activities offered helps provide knowledge and skills in sustainable water resource management, climate resilience, and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This programme brings together around forty young people aged 18 to 30 from diverse backgrounds and seven different countries (France, the Netherlands, Greece, Lithuania, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Romania).

Over the course of eight months, participants benefit from mentoring, internship search support, a community of practice, in-person workshops, and online courses on various modules.

During the mobility session in Strasbourg, which will take place from August 30 to September 5, 2025, participants will delve deeper into Module 3, dedicated to entrepreneurship in the water and climate sector, as well as Module 4, focused on understanding the organisations working in the field.

This mobility will offer young participants the opportunity to come together for a programme combining workshop sessions, meetings with experts, and field visits.
