The Blue Book is an instrument developed by the ISW that seeks a shared vision of water management (water resources, water supply and other uses) and sanitation at the country level. Developing a vision to be shared, and especially at the country level, is a challenge that in Peru has gathered national, regional and local government representatives, donor agencies, multilateral banks representatives, civil society organizations, water enterprises syndicates, universities and private companies. The ISW launched in May 2015 the call to all citizens to participate and to let their voices be heard during the preparation of the Blue Book. So far, three national workshops (called RAP’s in Spanish, from Reuniones de Amplia Participación) have taken place in Lima. The Blue book is now on its final edition and it is collecting the opinion of all interested citizens and it is expected to be presented in June 2016.
