The International Secretariat for Water was selected by The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to test the indicators of the OECD Water Governance Initiative in Peru. The project is currently in the pilot phase.

A first meeting of global partners took place on 3 May 2017. The ISW, as part of its mission in Peru, participated in this meeting from Lima, on the premises of the CAF – Development Bank of Latin America, with representatives of the Ministry of Housing and Sanitation and Ministry of the Environment of Peru, and representatives of civil society.

The objective of the meeting was to clarify the objectives and expected results of the pilot-test and to review the methodology for the revision of OECD indicators.
