Water and Peace Symphony – High-Level Global Panel on Water and Peace

Water and Peace Symphony – High-Level Global Panel on Water and Peace

Following its creation and launch in November 2015, the High-Level Global Panel on Water and Peace (https://www.genevawaterhub.org/fr/projets/panel-mondial-de-haut-niveau-sur-leau-et-la-paix-secretariat) met for the second time from 5 to 7 April 2016 in Dakar, Senegal.

This meeting marked an important step in the advancement of the Symphony for Water and Peace, initiated in November 2015 at the Panel’s launch in Geneva, Switzerland. Inspired by the first composition of the Swiss bass player Mich Gerber, the talented Senegalese musician Alune Wade has developed the Symphony for Water and Peace bringing to the piece his own original contribution.
