It was during Water Day at COP21 that the WYPW presented the commitments made from 21 different organisations that participated in the movement. Within the general theme Water and Climate, the 2 areas of commitment hinge around the need to integrate youth within the relevant water governance bodies and around raising youth awareness on water and climate change issues.

These commitments were developed in the context of the ‘From Lima to Paris Action Agenda’ which proposes a platform for stakeholders other than governments to contribute to the fight against climate change.

These commitments also fed into the campaign: #climatiswater.

The WYPW was proud to represent youth commitments to the water sector.
