Solidarity Water Europe celebrates World Water Day 2017

With the support of the City of Strasbourg, the ENGEES, the Water Agencies Rhin-Meuse and Artois-Picardie and the Special Envoy for Water at SDC, François Münger, Solidarity Water Europe will celebrate the World Water Day 2017 on 21 and 22 March with two events:

• Tuesday, March 21, 2017, starting at 2 pm, a round table will be held at the ERAGE (4 Brûlée St, Strasbourg) on ​​the theme:

“Youth Citizen Engagement for Water – Water and Peace”

Will participate in the round table:
– students of the lycée Jean Monnet in Neudorf who contributed to the organization of this event;
– young Europeans who will demonstrate their commitment to water in Europe and in their respective countries;
– experts;
– citizens.

• Wednesday, March 22, 2017, from 10 am to 5 pm at Place Kléber in Strasbourg, a stand will invite the public to consider the general problems of water and, in particular, the relationship between water and peace.

Videos, documents and testimonies will advocate for a strong citizen commitment to the cause of water, a vector of a more solidary and equitable society, loving dialogue and peaceful relations.
