We will participate to the 7th Africa Water Week.
This event represents a political commitment at the highest level, where governments, regional institutions, international partners, the private sector, the scientific community, civil society and the media around the world collectively seek solutions to water and sanitation problems. It is held annually in accordance with the decision of the African Ministers Council on Water to strengthen the water and sanitation goals within the Development Goals (MDGs & SDGs) and Africa 2025. An adequate and equitable access to water and sanitation is a critical contribution to Africa’s progress towards sustainable development.
Four sub themes will be addressed:
- Water Security: infrastructure, Investments and innovation.
- Choices, Approaches and Actions for safely managed sanitation in Africa by 2030.
- Water Governance: re-engineering the IWRM, the nexus approach in action.
- Financing the Africa’s SDG 6 ambitions: Beyond political declarations

During the event, we will be supporting the following key event promoting youth-led research and innovations, raising the attention of decision-makers about their importance.
We hope to see you there!
