We are one of 15 organizations selected under the Quebec government’s International Climate Cooperation Program (ICCP). This funding will allow us to implement phase 2 (2021-2023) of Your Future, Your Climate (#TonFuturTonClimat)- a project that will help build the capacity of local populations in Benin, Burkina Faso and Togo to develop economic activities that are resilient to water and climate-related challenges.
This initiative – which puts youth at the heart of the responses to be given – is the beneficiary of a total funding of $499,000 CAD and can be implemented thanks to the support of the Government of Quebec, the Global Water Partnership, and our institutional partners such as the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the Agence de l’eau Artois-Picardie.
This second phase was officially launched on May 3 and 4, 2021 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and online. This launch brought together project partners and youth and established a basis for collaboration for the start of implementation.
